Two-Headed Cat
This two-headed, 60-pound Sergio Bustamante Cat was severely damaged in shipping. The large sculpture is 24 inches high by 36 inches wide and 16 inches deep, and it was a very difficult restoration.

Three legs were broken off, and many areas had to be rebuilt and reinforced.

This repair required precise attention to detail.

One leg still needed to be attached. The other areas had to be rebuilt from the inside out.

The entire sculpture then needed to be patched and sanded several times before painting as you can see here.

The hands and fingers were completely restored. The painted finish is back to its original condition.

The Cat was completely restored. Many hours of precision work went into repairing this large, heavy sculpture.
