Rising Sun
Many hours of detail work go into restoring sculptures. This large, ceramic Rising Sun sculpture fell off the wall and shattered into many pieces! Jeff repaired the severely damaged sun as a labor of love for Sergio Bustamante sculptures.

Before
This large, heavy piece is 36 inches high by 30 inches wide.

Before
The broken lower half was smashed from the fall.

During
The sun rays needed rebuilding. Much work and expertise went into the rebuild process that included reattaching the broken rays.

During
The reattached sun rays were patched and sanded numerous times for a smooth surface in preparation for the final restoration tasks.

After
Jeff then painted and restored the sun to its original condition.

The colors perfectly matched the rest of the sculpture resulting in another client-pleasing restoration!
